Building a Legacy_square.png

In John chapter 4, a woman walks up to a well outside the town of Sychar to draw water — and her life is changed forever. She comes face to face with Jesus, hears the truth about her own story, and walks away carrying something no bucket could ever hold: living water. She runs back into town and tells everyone she knows. A whole community is stirred because of one conversation at one well.

But here's something worth sitting with for a moment.

That well didn't just appear. Over 1,800 years before that woman ever showed up — before that conversation ever happened — a man named Jacob dug it. He picked up a shovel, he did the hard work, and he created a place that would give life to the people he loved and the community around him. He couldn't have known that centuries later, the Son of God would sit down at that same well and change a woman's eternity. He just dug.

And because he did, she had somewhere to go.

That's What This Is About

At Generations Cowboy Church, we believe we are being called to be well-diggers.

We have the opportunity to close on a 40-acre piece of land that will become the future home of our church — a permanent place where people can come, encounter Jesus, and leave carrying something eternal. The Legacy Fund exists to make that possible.

This isn't just about property. It's about creating a spiritual well — a place where the living water of Jesus Christ flows freely to the people in our community right now and to the generations who will come after us. People we may never meet. Kids who haven't been born yet. Families who don't even know they need this place yet.

Just like Jacob, we're digging for them anyway.

Your Part in the Story

Every gift to the Legacy Fund is a shovelful of dirt. It's an act of faith that says, I believe something is coming here. I believe people are going to encounter Jesus at this place. And I want to be a part of making that possible.

You may never know the name of every person who walks through the doors of what gets built on this land. But you will have been one of the reasons they had somewhere to go.

That is a legacy worth building.

How to Give

Gifts to the Legacy Fund go directly toward the purchase of our 40-acre property and the future development of the church facility. Whether you feel led to give a one-time gift or make a commitment over time, every dollar moves us closer to breaking ground on something that will outlast all of us.
